Mixed Full Set
What it is
A mixed full set blends two styles of extension in one set: classic extensions (one per natural lash) and volume-style extensions (a fan of several very fine lashes on one natural lash). The blend gives more fullness and a softer, textured finish than a classic set alone, while still looking like lashes rather than a wall of black.
What "mixed" means
You may also see this called a hybrid set. The word "mixed" simply means classic and volume are combined. Where the volume-style lashes go, and how many, can be tailored to your eye shape and the look you want, which is why it is worth telling Olivia what you are picturing. Compare the options in classic vs mixed lash sets explained.
Who it suits
- Clients who want more fullness than a classic set gives.
- Anyone who likes a fluffier, more textured lash line.
- Clients with sparse natural lashes who want the look filled in.
How long it lasts and keeping it up
As with any extension set, lashes shed with your natural cycle and the set thins out over time. Mixed sets are kept up with a Mixed Fill, booked every 2-3 weeks. After more than 4 weeks, or with fewer than half of the extensions remaining, a full set is needed.
What your visit looks like
A short chat about length, curl and how dramatic you want to go, a patch test first if you are new, then about 2 hours 30 minutes lying back with your eyes closed while the set is applied.
Price and time
$260, 2 h 30 m. Includes lash cleanser and kit.
Aftercare
Aftercare matters for how long the result looks its best. Keep lashes dry for the first 24 hours, avoid oils around the eyes, and brush your lashes daily. Olivia gives you an aftercare sheet at your appointment, and you can read it ahead of time on the aftercare page. If you notice anything unusual, contact Olivia right away or a medical professional.
Note: Includes lash cleanser and kit.
