Classic Full Set
What it is
A classic full set means one extension is applied to one natural lash, for every lash that is being dressed. The extension is a single, longer, slightly thicker synthetic lash attached with adhesive, so the result is a defined, natural-looking lash line. It is the usual starting point for a first set of extensions.
What "classic" means
"Classic" describes the technique, not a trend. One extension per natural lash keeps the look close to what you already have, only longer, darker and more defined. A mixed set blends in volume-style lashes for a fuller finish. You can compare the two in classic vs mixed lash sets explained.
Who it suits
- First-time extension clients who want a natural result.
- Anyone who likes the look of mascara without wearing it.
- Clients who prefer a lighter feel and a simpler routine.
How long it lasts and keeping it up
Extensions fall out as your natural lashes shed on their own cycle, so the set thins out gradually. Olivia asks for a fill every 2-3 weeks. After more than 4 weeks, or when fewer than half of the extensions remain, a new full set is needed instead of a fill. See Classic Fill for upkeep.
What your visit looks like
You start with a short chat about the look you want. Because this is your first extension service, a patch test comes first. You then lie back with your eyes closed while the set is applied. The visit takes about 2 hours.
Price and time
$235, 2 h. Includes lash cleanser and kit (retail $20).
Aftercare
Aftercare matters for how long the result looks its best. Keep lashes dry for the first 24 hours, skip mascara, and cleanse daily with an oil-free cleanser. Olivia gives you an aftercare sheet at your appointment, and you can read it ahead of time on the aftercare page. If you notice anything unusual, contact Olivia right away or a medical professional.
Note: Includes lash cleanser and kit (retail $20).
